On Sunday 17 September, 2017 the Annual Frame Trophy Bowling Competition between Perthshire East and West took place at Perth Bowling Club. A total of 24 bowlers took to the green. It was a very close competition with Perthshire East emerging as winners by a very narrow margin. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Russell Logan accepted the Frame Trophy on behalf of Perthshire East.
The winners of the Ferguson Cup, a competition for the Perthshire West bowlers on the day was won by a team of Brethren from Lodges No. 9, 14 and 657.

The Provincial Grand Lodge of Perthshire East Bowling Competition took place on Saturday 9 July, 2016 at the Caledonian Bowling Club, Feus Road, Perth.
Due to problems experienced with former competitions it was decided to try to revamp the Provincial Bowling Competitions. It was agreed that we would play The Walter Stuart and Harry Fraser competitions on the one day, based upon a round robin format.
13 of the daughter lodges had expressed a desire to take part, but unfortunately due to the weather and other commitments only 8 lodges turned up on the day.
The day started off with bacon rolls and tea and then the eight rinks took to the green. We had a pit stop at 1245 for a light lunch. Followed by the final games and then onto the semi-finals.
Lodges 74 and 1524 then played for the final time to decide who would take first prize. After a very keenly fought 6 ends it was all square and a final end was required.
Lodge St Andrew at Perth No. 74 emerged as the winners of the Walter Stuart Trophy and Lodge Stormont No 1524 received the Harry Fraser Shield.
On behalf of all the bowlers and spectators who turned up I would like to express my thanks to the Caledonian Bowling Club, for allowing us the use of the green for the day also the staff of the club who looked after us during the day.
I have to thank Brother Colin Jamieson for organising the whole day, and coming up with the new format. Also my thanks go to Brother Gordon King for organising the half time 'award winning pies' (very nice they were). I also appreciated the assistance received from Bothers Russell Logan and Iain Robertson. Also to everyone who came along and 'saved' the day I thank you for giving up your time.
Judging by the feedback the new format worked and negotiations are now under way for next year with a few tweaks here and there.
As a result of the day a very small profit will go into the charity pot for 2017 thanks again to all.
On Sunday 6 September, 2015 the Annual Provincial Grand Lodge of Perth East v West competition took place at Perth Bowling Club. Four rinks from each province took part in brilliant sunshine. At the end of the day Perthshire East emerged as the winners (by a narrow margin). Lodge Dunblane were the winners of the Ferguson cup as the best team, on the day, from Perthshire West. Photographs show the two Provincial Grand Masters with the Frame Trophy and the winning skip from Lodge Dunblane being presented with the Ferguson Cup. Our thanks go to Perth Bowling Club, the two ladies who kept us fed and watered and to the bowlers who gave up their afternoon, some at the last minute. Next year's competition will be hosted by Perthshire West. Well done all.
